The zombies have returned to Tuxedo Park in Crete! Face bigger obstacles, hungrier zombies, and a better mapped out course. This year we allow you to choose if you want to run or be a zombie! Come out, get dirty and try to survive the Savin' Sokol Zombie Outbreak 5k. You will be issued a flag football belt with 2 flags on it (more flags available for purchase separately), you will then line up with your fellow survivors and wait for the most unique start you have every experienced. You will then make your way through the on and off road course and into the hordes of zombies. If you make it through the race with any flags left you will receive an "I survived" T-shirt. If you return with no flags or if you do not complete the race you will receive an "I perished" T-shirt. The rules are simple your flags must remain visible at all times and you are not allowed to punch or intentionally push the zombies. Zombies are not allowed to intentionally tackle or push runners. After the run stay for a soup supper with several kinds of soup. A deejay will be playing music all afternoon and a bar will allow you to relax after the run. After you've relaxed a bit use your complimentary ticket and come down to 12th and Norman in visit Terror On 12th Street and Boneshaker Haunted Houses. Opening at 6PM until the line ends. Costumes are always encouraged and the Crete Fraternal Order of Police will be in attendance again to help out and make sure everything goes smoothly.
